Carla Viparelli

Born in Naples, she has a cum laude degree in philosophy. She lives in Naples and Maratea. Institutional exhibitions in foundations and galleries in Italy and abroad. Publications include “La pittura Napoletana del ‘900” (M. Picone) and “Atlante dell’Arte Contemporanea in Napoli e Campania” (V. Trione). Her first anthological exhibition “Viparelli – Opere scelte 2000-2008” (Matera, Museo Lanfranchi; Maratea, Palazzo De Lieto) was curated by the Superintendence of Matera. International workshops and exhibitions in museums, galleries and public institutions in Thailand, the United States, Japan, Bangladesh, Singapore and Poland. Concept and direction of “Italian Art Tour”. Direction of “LeAli” laboratory and exhibition. Artistic direction of the “Arte Libera” exhibition for the “Laboratory of Neuropsychology of the Evolutionary Age” of the Vanvitelli University. Concept and direction of the “Chi cerca Crea” competition for the Municipality of Maratea. First Prize in the “Borgo San Severino” International Painting Competition; First Prize in the “1003 Cento stanze per cento artisti” at the Art Hotel Gran Paradiso, Sorrento; Premio Masaniello “Napoletani protagonisti”; Lydia Cottone Prize for Art.
