Luigi Battisti

Luigi Battisti was born in Poggio Bustone and lives in Rome. In his artistic practice, he deploys a range of painting techniques on widely differing materials. These are never considered merely as media but instead are investigated in terms of their reactive potential, as part of a broader, ongoing effort to reinvent languages and to foreground, in the design concept, the role of minimal gestures reiterated in as many procedural methods.
